About Research
During the researching for these two bands (Bring Me The Horizon and New Years Day) I found ou multiple things baout how the bands stay popular as well as work in synergy with other bands nd companies to make themselves more popular. By doing things like joint tours and participating in other songs both groups manage to spread their fanbases to a wider audience as well as working in synergy and creating new contacts. This has allowed them to gain more money and please more of their audience members which is a big part of their music careers Synergising with new companies and corporatins has allowed new record labels to try out newer singles with the bands. It also helps the band to stay popular as the continuous release of either new albums as well as new singles keeps audince and media focus on them. Working in horizontal integration with magazine companies such as Kerrang! has helped them stay popular with the magazines readers by the free photoshoots of the bands in the weekly magazine with also coverage in written context about their latest products. Without working in snergy I don't think that the bands would be half as popular as they wouldn't be able to spread to such a wide fanbase using only their own income and area of population for example if BMTH were to just advertise without any help then they would only be popular in their birthplace of Sheffield.
