Logos
Generally, NYD doesn’t change their band typography very often, on nearly all of the albums the typography style has stayed the same throughout all of the years they have made songs. The type of font style that they use is quite jagged with hints of dripping text which is usually placed on the album in bright colours to make sure that it stands out so the buyer knows it’s their album. They don’t really have a logo which represents them like some other bands because they use their typography to represent themselves, but they do use small and recognisable logos on each of their albums which can reference each of the albums and even some of the songs.
Communication
Like most bands nowadays NYD have all of the social media sights such as Facebook and twitter. They address their audience through the bands accounts as well as each having their own accounts for personal updates and other things that might interest people. They use contracts with magazines such as Kerrang! to talk about upcoming tours and concerts that have happened. They keep in the news by releasing new songs and albums and releasing new tour dates for different areas around the world, both via long and short notice to keep the hype going for the band as well as releasing secret concerts in small venues.
